Relief International - Schools Online (RI-SOL), based in California,
has a record of expertise in the implementation of community
development programs, including emergency crisis operations.
Since 1990, our programs support communities in transition
from crisis to recovery with the development of sustainable
strategies. In 1994, RI-SOL became the first US based NGO
to develop a sustained presence in Tajikistan. To ensure long-term
sustainability, all programs are designed with the participation
of teachers, schools administrators, and local communities.
Over 400 schools in 36 countries have benefited from our programs.
Today, we are the leading global organization in the promotion
and implementation of new Information and Communication Technology
(ICT) methodologies in schools.
The Tajikistan School Connectivity Project for Central Asia
is a project of Relief International - Schools Online's
Global Citizenship & Youth Philanthropy Program and has been
made possible with major funding from the United States State Department Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the
William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the Global Catalyst
Foundation. |
