Program Partners
The International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES)
IFES provides civic education materials in local languages
for Tajikistan's teachers and students. They also provide
access to a range of programs that strengthen rule of law,
good governance, and civil society, such as Student Action
Committees and Student Local Government Days.

Ittifok
Ittifok, a local NGO based in Tajikistan's northern Sugd region,
provides training and education materials to schools on the
topics of interethnic conflict and the development of civil
and democratic society.
Junior Achievement (JA)
JA helps to develop business skills resources and strategy
plans for communities supporting ILCs. They also create economic
training programs for teachers that expose students to a new
style of learning and, consequently, thinking.
Saodat
Saodat provides training for students, teachers, and parents
on women's political, economical, social, and cultural rights,
increasing women's participation in management of government
agencies and social activities and establishing a positive
social atmosphere for women to work.
Aga Khan Educational Services (AKES)
AKES helps to create and increase capacity for the Connectivity
Project at select schools in Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast,
and assists in monitoring and recruitment for this region.
United Nations Development Program (UNDP)
UNDP's Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Program assists in mobilizing communities through local Jamoat Development Committees and distributing and collecting program applications.
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)
UCLA supports the implementation and development of the International
Teacher Exchange component of the project.
Global Citizenship and Youth Philanthropy (GCYP)
A joint project of Nickelodeon, National Geographic Society,
UCLA and RI-SOL, GCYP provides structured curricula using
interactive lessons on issues of civic education and participation.

 | | ORA Disability Program at School #10 |
ORA International
ORA International's Disability Program coordinates support
and activities for people with disabilities to help provide
social integration and employment opportunities. Members of
ORA's Disability Program receive training in computer and
Internet skills at Connectivity Project ILCs in Dushanbe,
Gissar, and Rudaki.
The Tajikistan School Connectivity Project for Central Asia
is a project of Relief International - Schools Online's
Global Citizenship & Youth Philanthropy Program and has been
made possible with major funding from the United States State Department Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the
William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the Global Catalyst
Foundation. |
