Tajikistan School Connectivity Project

School #4, Chkalovsk


Located 30 minutes southeast of Khujand, in Soviet times Chkalovsk was a closed military town. Now it is one of the few remaining towns with a large Russian population. School #4 has 724 students and 43 teachers.

Seven Lead Teachers are active in the Connectivity Project. The school Internet Learning Center has six computers from the Connectivity Project and six computers from previous donations, all of which are connected to the Internet.
