Tajikistan School Connectivity Project

School #40, Chorbogh


School #40 is in a remote village located outside of Kulyab in southern Tajikistan. School #40 was chosen as the school to receive a bio-gas generator due to the electricity scarcity and supportive farming community. The school has a very active PTA, and the director is committed to interactive teaching methods.

There are 923 students at School #40. Seven Lead Teachers are active in the Connectivity Project. The school Internet Learning Center has twelve computers, six from the Connectivity Project and six from previous donations. All are connected to the Internet.
