Tajikistan School Connectivity Project

School #3, Nurek


Nurek is located two hours south of Dushanbe in the Khatlon region. It is a small town that supports a large hydro-electric power station that gives electricity to all of Tajikistan. Due to this, the town is very active and without electricity problems.

There are 1460 students at the school and 54 teachers. Eight Lead Teachers are active in Connectivity Project activities. The school Internet Learning Center has five computers, all from the Connectivity Project.
