Tajikistan School Connectivity Project

School #1, Sarband


Sarband is located a half-hour drive from the southern city of Kurgan-Tyube. Before the Connectivity Project, there was no Internet previously in this town. The school is also one of the largest in the region and is located in the center of town where other schools and NGOs will have easy access.

There are 2279 students at the school and 81 teachers. Fourteen Lead Teachers are active in Connectivity Project activities, including an experienced computer teacher. The school Internet Learning Center has five computers from the Connectivity Project, and nine computers from previous donations.
