School #101, Tursunzade


Tursunzade is located ninety minutes east of Dushanbe. It is the largest city in the Uzbekistan border region and there is a border crossing just outside the city. The largest aluminum factory in Tajikistan is located in Tursunzade.

There are 2800 students at the school and 112 teachers. Nine Lead Teachers from School #101 and a nearby gymnasium are active in Connectivity Project activities. The school Internet Learning Center has six computers from the Connectivity Project, and eight other computers from previous donations which are now connected to the Internet as well.
