Tajikistan School Connectivity Project

School #139, Rohati


Located 30 minutes east of Dushanbe, in the Vakhdat region, School #139 is in a very rural community that struggles with high crime rates. The school was selected for the Connectivity Project to give students more opportunities and to attract them to education.

There are 910 students and 45 teachers at School #139. The school has invited School #1, School #4, and School #6 to participate in the activities at the center. There are six Lead Teachers, including one each from the three nearby schools, active in the Connectivity Project. The school Internet Learning Center has six computers, all from the Connectivity Project.
